This is an open edition of the Victory Stakes and Niccanova represents enormous value at his current price.

He went to another level at the end of his last campaign, which concluded with a win in the Sunshine Coast Cup, and he can produce a high rating on his day.

Any give in the ground is an advantage and he should get that on Saturday.

Flemington – Race 7 3:25PM AEST

No. 10 Aussie Nugget – Bet Now: $3.50

Aussie Nugget ran the fastest closing sectionals of the race, against the pattern of the day, when he finished second behind Shot Of Irish at Caulfield last start and he finds himself in a very winnable contest at Flemington.

There is no doubt that he has gone to another level this campaign and there is no horse the quality of Shot Of Irish in this field.

Flemington – Race 9 4:38PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 11 The Astrologist – Bet Now: $4.60

The Astrologist absolutely savaged the line late when he returned to the races at Caulfield and he should take good improvement from what was his first race start in close to a year.

The step-up to 1100 metres is ideal for him and he has run well at Flemington in the past.

He will settle in the second half of the field from the wide barrier, but he will be storming home late.
