She doesn’t win out of turn, but this might be the right race for Divine Jewel.

She showed plenty of toughness to win at Narromine first-up and she found the line nicely at Mudgee last start.

The Rip Van Winkle mare will get a long way back from the wide barrier draw, but that is her racing pattern and she will have the chance to run on late.

Dubbo – Race 7 3:45PMAEST

No. 4 Farmer’s Friend – Bet Now: $5.00

Farmer’s Friend has drawn a wide barrier draw, but I think that he is good enough to overcome it and get the job done.

He has recorded two wins from his three race starts to date and he still has the scope to improve on that effort.

There should be plenty of early speed in this contest and he will have the chance to finish over the top of his rivals.

Dubbo – Race 8 4:24PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 1 White Boots – Bet Now: $6.50

White Boots has an excellent chance to make a winning return to the races in the Dubbo Gold Cup.

The Animal Kingdom gelding has generally raced in stronger company than this and he does run well fresh.

He maps to get a lovely run in transit and he should prove tough to beat.

Dubbo – Race 9 5:00PM AEST

No. 2 Sneak Preview – Bet Now: $3.60

Sneak Preview is good enough to overcome the wide barrier draw and win the John Nestor Memorial Flying Handicap.

His first-up victory at Dubbo was outstanding and he has now won two of his three race starts at the venue.

I like the fact that he has had a barrier trial between race starts and he will be storming home in the concluding stages.
