Pakenham – Race 1 11:30AM AEST

No. 1 Anaheim – Bet Now: $2.50

Anaheim is a very talented galloper who has won his last two times over the jumps. In between those runs he finished down the track at Caulfield and Bendigo on the flat. He is a very versatile horse who can adapt to the situation and he looks the one to beat in the first event of the day at Pakenham this afternoon.

Pakenham – Race 2 12:10PM AEST

No. 5 Exemplar – Bet Now: $3.60

Exemplar is a horse of horse of some ability who was more than competitive in some quality races during his last prep. The grey helding was beaten only half a length at Listed level behind Valac at Mornington over the 2400m and I think he can run a race in this event over the hurdles.

Ipswich – Race 4 12:45PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 1 Class Of Royalty – Bet Now: $3.40

Class Of Royalty has been racing consistently in his three runs this prep which has netted him one victory and a close second last time out. He carried 59kg over the 1800m at the Gold Coast when beaten under a length last start and if he can replicate that effort, he will be going close yet again.

Ipswich – Race 6 2:05PM AEST

No. 2 Meyer – Bet Now: $3.20

Kris Lees and Australian Bloodstock combine with Meyer in the sixth event of the day at Ipswich. The three year old chestnut filly strung together two impressive wins on the trot earlier this prep before running fourth at Toowoomba last time out. She will appreciate the step back up in distance here and she will be tough to beat in a race of this quality.
