Magic Waler has been racing well without winning this campaign and he has an excellent chance to return to winning form.
He chased home Sh’bourne Rebel at Devonport last start and there is no horse of that quality in this field.
Devonport – Race 6 3:00PM AEST
No. 10 Sheorta – Bet Now: $5.00
Sheorta is the value runner in what is a very open betting race.
She has been racing well without winning this campaign and she generally does produce her best form at Devonport.
The Wanted mare will settle in the second half of the field, but she will be storming home in the concluding stages.
Devonport – Race 8 4:15PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 7 Red Letter Lady – Bet Now: $2.05
Red Letter Lady is a lightly-raced galloper that still has plenty of upside to improve.
She showed a nice turn-of-foot to win at Devonport last start and the form coming out of that race has been strong.
It will be interesting to see whether she can progress through the grades.

No. 1 Up Wind – Bet Now: $2.30
Up Wind was beaten as a short-priced favourite at Devonport last start, but I am will to give him another chance.
His two wins before that were excellent and on exposed form he does have a clear class edge over the rest of this field.
