Horse Racing Tips & Best Bets – Sunday 26th July, 2020

Sunday will see plenty of quality thoroughbred racing across the country with our focus being on the meeting at Sale. Take a look at our horse racing tips and best bets for Sunday 26th July, 2020.

Sale – Race 4 2:10PM AEST

EACH WAY: No. 12 Lunatic Fringe – Bet Now: $6.50

There was lots to like about Lunatic Fringe’s recent jump out and it would not surprise to watch her sneak into the placings on Sunday from the inside gate.

The lightly-raced daughter of Fiorente showed plenty of promise in her maiden campaign finding the placings in three of her four starts, one of which came on debut over a similar distance at Kyneton back in December.

This is obviously a much tougher task, but she does have form around Coin Collector, who found the placings in the Listed Galilee Series Final at Caulfield back in April. The booking of Jamie Kah is also a big tick.

Sale – Race 5 2:45PM AEST

No. 3 Howlowcanyougo – Bet Now: $4.40

Howlowcanyougo looks poised to strike third-up where he’s won previously.

The son of Lope De Vega weakened out in the late stages over the 1200m at Murray Bridge three weeks ago, but he does have a win and a placing under his belt over this distance.

The four-year-old doesn’t doesn’t mind racing with a bit of sting out of the track and the booking of Jamie Kah, who has been in some form of late, suggests plenty of intent from the Patrick Payne yard.

Sale – Race 7 3:55PM AEST

No. 8 Roppongi – Bet Now: $3.80

Roppongi has been well-found in this contest and it comes as no real surprise when you factor in his recent form.

The two-year-old is obviously a real horse of ability, evident in his comfortable maiden win a fortnight ago at Wodonga where he won by a length.

This is a much tougher contest rising in grade but with a win on the soft and Rhys McLeod sticking aboard, he’s worth rolling the dice on.

Sale – Race 8 4:30PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 3 Boomstock – Bet Now: $2.70

Boomstock should take a power of beating in the final race of the day.

The Tavistock gelding is absolutely flying right now under Jamie Kah and he has proven more than capable of handling the extra weight in his previous two runs.

The New Zealand galloper has a win and four placings to his name over the mile, and with plenty of wet track form to suit, I’m happy to have him at the $3.70 quote.
