Saunter Boy is a talented stayer who raced okay at Group level over his Autumn campaign.
He had three goes over the hurdles in barrier trials recently which will put him in good order for this assignment and he should have plenty of residual fitness.
Sandown – Race 2 12:35PM AEST
No. 1 Tallyho Twinkletoe – Bet Now: $2.15
Tallyho Twinkletoe has managed 13 wins from his 24 career race starts and the 10 year old is racing particularly well of late.
He’s put together back to back wins and again looks well placed to record another win in this event.
Sandown – Race 4 1:55PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 1 The Black Leopard – Bet Now: $4.60
The Black Leopard was freshened up before finishing second behind Bartholomeu Dias on th heavy track two back.
He found them a bit too slick last start but the seven year old can bounce back from the good barrier in this event.
Sandown – Race 6 3:05PM AEST
No. 6 Frondeur – Bet Now: $2.25
Frondeur won her first two race starts by a combined 4.8 lengths before tackling Group 3 level and finishing just 2.2 lengths behind How Womantic at Caulfield.
She is a lightly raced mare with plenty of ability and the early money suggests she will run well first up here.
