Magico Hombre managed two impressive wins at Wagga and Taree last prep and this looks a nice starting point for the three year old gelding.
He is by Magic Albert and is out of a very speedy mare named Lady Be Great who won twice from just four starts. recording a class record at Warwick Farm in the process.
An impressive recent trial, as well as some early market support, suggests that he is ready to win first up and we are getting nice each way odds.
Sapphire Coast – Race 4 2:50PM AEST
No. 12 Boomahnoomoonah – Bet Now: $SP.00
Boomahnoomoonah has been runner up at her last three in a row, beaten less than a length on each occasion.
The daughter of Vancouver is suited by the 1400m here and I am encouraged by the fact that the stab;e has decided to put the blinkers on for the first time.
Should be able to get to the front from barrier three which takes luck in running out of the equation to some extent.
Sapphire Coast – Race 5 3:25PM AEST
No. 1 Dip Me Lid – Bet Now: $SP.00
Five year old gelding Dip Me Lid has been racing in career best form this prep and has not finished worst than second in his past five starts.
This includes back to back wins leading into this assignment at Moruya and Canberra and that form is good enough to be winning a race of this quality.
Sapphire Coast – Race 6 4:00PM AEST
BEST WAY: No. 8 Revitup Rednut – Bet Now: $3.90
Revitup Rednut has won just five times in 30 career race starts but she is a mare of some ability.
She was not far away at Moruya two back in open class grade before finishing third at Canterbury last time out behind Sedition.
She strung together three wins on the trot last prep and if she can find that form she is capable of beating this field comfortably.
