BEST BET: No. 3 Dunvegan – Bet Now: $2.30

Dunvegan is deserving of his status as a dominant favourite and he may never have a better chance to claim a maiden race win.

He has generally raced in stronger company than this and on exposed form he does have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field.

Barrier three is ideal and he will have every possible chance with Luke Currie in the saddle.

Pakenham – Race 6 8:30PM AEST

No. 4 Tycoon Thunder – Bet Now: $3.50

The stable of Shane Nichols is on fire and Tycoon Thunder has an excellent chance to deliver him another winner tonight.

Tycoon Thunder really showed have won at Pakenham last start and he hasn’t produced a poor effort this campaign.

Barrier ten is a little bit tricky and he will need some luck in running, but he is still the horse to beat in what is a very open race.

Pakenham – Race 7 9:00PM AEST

No. 8 Elidi – Bet Now: $3.00

I am happy to take on Fighting Harada off the back of such a lenghty spell and it is Elidi that looks like the horse to beat.

Elidi showed good ability to win at Pakenham last start and it would not surprise if she is now able to go on with the job.

The inside barrier is ideal and she should have every possible chance in the run.

Pakenham – Race 8 9:30PM AEST

No. 8 Villa Villekulla – Bet Now: $3.30

Villa Villekulla has been racing well without winning this campaign and he has an excellent chance to return to winning form this afternoon.

He has chased home some good horses this preparation and this is probably the weakest race that he has contested in some time.

He will settle in the second half of the field, but he will be storming home late.
