Jana may never have a better chance to record a maiden race win.

She returned to the races with a promising performance at Seymour last start and there is no doubt that this is a weaker field.

She will need a touch of luck from the wide barrier draw, but she should have too much class for this field.

Ballarat – Race 4 2:30PM AEST

No. 7 Medic – Bet Now: $3.70

Medic made her racing debut with a promising performance at Ballarat and she should take good improvement from that effort.

This is another contest that isn’t particularly strong and the daughter of Snitzel does look to have more upside than the rest of her rivals.

It would not surprise to see her end up in stronger races than this one.

Ballarat – Race 5 3:00PM AEST

No. 1 Salorsci – Bet Now: $SP.00

Salorsci has recorded six wins from his 17 race starts and he is a galloper that has been well-placed this preparation by Lindsay Smith.

There is no reason that he can’t record another race win.

His last start victory at Warrnambool was nothing short of dominant and a repeat of that effort would make him very tough to beat.

Ballarat – Race 7 4:00PM AEST

No. 1 El Phoenix – Bet Now: $3.30

El Phoenix has now recorded three wins from his seven race starts on the synthetic racing surface and there is no doubt that is where he produces his best form.

There was plenty to like about the way that he found at Pakenham last start and he is a horse that has proven he has no issues carrying big weights.

He can make it back-to-back wins.
