BEST BET: No. 6 Fighting Whiskey – Bet Now: $8.00

Fighting Whiskey has been racing well without winning this campaign and he has an excellent chance to return to winning form.

He has form around some good horses and he should now be at peak fitness third-up.

Barrier ten is a little bit tricky and he will need some luck in running, but he is still the horse to beat in this field.

Pakenham – Race 6 8:30PM AEST

No. 7 Shojiki – Bet Now: $2.70

Shojiki has raced in much tougher company than this during her maiden racing campaign and this looks like a lovely race for her.

She wasn’t beaten far in either of her past two race starts at Caulfield and the form around her has been strong.

There isn’t a huge amount of speed in this contest and Lachlan King can ride her aggressively in the early stages of this race.

Pakenham – Race 7 9:00PM AEST

No. 6 Jimmy Rockford – Bet Now: $3.00

Jimmy Rockford did the job in impressive fashion on debut and he is clearly a horse with plenty of upside.

There is no doubt that he will be better over 1400 metres and he should get a lovely run in transit with Damien Thornton in the saddle.

He does look like the good thing of the day.

Pakenham – Race 8 9:30PM AEST

No. 15 Power Boom – Bet Now: $5.50

Power Boom has gone to another level this campaign and she has generally been racing in stronger company than this.

She chased home It’sourtime at Ladbrokes Park Sandown last start and she also has form around Miss Albania.

Power Boom should be able to stalk the speed from barrier two and that will give her every possible chance in the run.
