Moe – Race 7 3:30PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 1 Bastyan – Bet Now: $SP.00
Bastyan is a better galloper than his current record of one win from seven starts suggests.
He returned to the races with a second place finish behind the talented Young Liam at Donald last start and he should take good improvement from that performance.
Michael Dee will be forced to settle him in the second half of the field, but there is good early tempo and he will be flying home late.
Moe – Race 8 4:00PM AEST
No. 1 Kamien – Bet Now: $4.40
Kamien will be better over further and will take improvement from this contest, but he is still good enough to win this contest.
This is the weakest race that he has contested in some time and the I Am Invincible gelding has run well fresh in the past.
The wet track at Moe is an advantage and he can make a winning return to the races.
Kembla Grange – Race 6 3:15PM AEST
No. 8 Oaksastar – Bet Now: $7.50
Oaksastar is outstanding value at her current quote of $8.50.
She only recorded the one race win in her maiden racing campaign, but there is definitely ability there and it would not surprise to see her return to the races as a better horse.
Barrier two is ideal for her and she has trialed nicely ahead of her return to the races.
Kembla Grange – Race 7 3:50PM AEST
No. 5 Matowatakpe – Bet Now: $4.40
Matowatakpe returned to the races with a fast-finishing second place finish at Hawkesbury and he is well-placed to return to winning form second-up.
He got a long way back in the run at Hawkesbury last start and he should be able to settle closer to the speed this afternoon.
The Dream Ahead gelding can finish over the top of his rivals and return to winning form.
