Savagery failed to fire last start, but he did have excuses and I think he is better than that performance suggests.
There was plenty to like about the way that he won on debut at Echuca and if he can replicate that effort he will prove very tough to beat.
Pakenham – Race 6 9:00PM AEST
No. 1 Confidant – Bet Now: $4.20
Confidant will return to the races for the first time since he finished fourth in the Albury Guineas and he is well-placed to make a winning return to the races.
The Fastnet Rock gelding always looked like a horse that would improve with more racing under his belt and it wouldn’t surprise to see him go to another level this campaign.

No. 6 Rocking Eagle – Bet Now: $2.35
Rocking Eagle might be the most exciting galloper set to race at Pakenham tonight.
He showed plenty of upside during his maiden racing campaign and on exposed form he does look to have a genuine edge over the rest of this field.
Barrier three is ideal and he will have every possible chance with Jordan Childs in the saddle.
