Akaka Falls continues to be a frustrating horse for punters and this is d-day for the Lloyd Kennewell-trained galloper.
On exposed form he does have a big class edge over the rest of this field and he shouldn’t have any problems with the big weight.
Barrier one is ideal and he may never have a better chance to claim a maiden race win.

No. 1 Angerstein – Bet Now: $SP,00
Angerstein has been racing well without winning this campaign and he has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win.
He has generally raced in stronger company than this and on exposed form I think he does have a genuine edge over Fac.
The Warhorse gelding is well-placed to get a maiden race victory on the board.
Pakenham – Race 3 7:00PM AEST
No. 2 Stratum’s Reward – Bet Now: $3.30
Stratum’s Reward may be a nine-race maiden, but this does look like a lovely race for him.
He has been racing well without winning this campaign and there was plenty to like about his last start.
Ben Allen will be able to settle him right on the speed and he will give his rivals something to chase.

No. 1 Zipping Boy – Bet Now: $1.85
Zipping Boy is deserving of his status as a short-priced favourite in this contest.
He got too far back in the run at Cranbourne last start and the step-up to 1100 metres is ideal.
This is his ideal trip, he has recorded three wins from as many starts at this distance, and he is the clear class horse in this field.
