Raffine is deserving of her status as a clear favourite for this contest.
She was only narrowly denied a return to winning form at Ballarat last start and there is an argument to be made that she is racing in career best form.
The Toorak Toff mare makes her own luck right on the speed and she will have every possible chance in the run.

No. 7 Yankee Lou – Bet Now: $6.50
Yankee Lou doesn’t win out of turn, but he finds himself in a very winnable contest at Ballarat this afternoon.
He has been racing very consistently this campaign and there is no doubt that he appreciates the all weather surface.
I am happy to take on Balle D’or and Yankee Lou is great value at his current odds of $7.

No. 12 Redeel – Bet Now: $3.20
There is no horse in this field that has as much upside as Redeel.
She made her racing debut with a classy win at Pakenham and she should take good improvement from this performance.
Barrier 11 means that she will settle in the second half of the field, but she will be storming home in the concluding stages.
