The money generally comes when Jamie Kah combines with Clayton Douglas and it would not surprise to see Runaway Train start this race as a dominant favourite.

There was plenty to like about the way that she won first-up at Cranbourne and she is a staying train that clearly has plenty of upside.

Mornington – Race 6 3:30PM AEST

No. 13 Locko – Bet Now: $4.40

Locko doesn’t have a great winning record, but this does look like a nice race for him.

He chased home the talented Way To Go Paula at Pakenham last start and he improved to finish fifth at Moe last start.

The give out of the track is a positive for him and is the value runner in a very open race.

Mornington – Race 7 4:00PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 9 Springlodge – Bet Now: $26.00

Springlodge is a simply outstanding bet at her current bet of $26.

She got her maiden race win on the board in tough fashion at this track last start and she still has the scope to improve on that performance.

This is another open contest and she will have every possible chance from the inside barrier draw.

Mornington – Race 8 4:30PM AEST

No. 1 Hard Press – Bet Now: $4.00

Hard Press returned to the races with a good effort at Cranbourne and he is a horse that generally does improve second-up.

He will settle in the second half of the field from the wide barrier draw, but he does have a strong turn-of-foot and he does have more upside than the rest of this field.
