Benalla – Race 5 3:30PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 4 Sacred Lass – Bet Now: $2.25

Sacred Lass is deserving of her status as a dominant favourite for this contest at Benalla.

She showed a nice turn-of-foot to win at Wodonga a couple of starts ago and she was a touch unlucky at Mornington last start.

This race is no tougher and she should get a lovely run in transit with Jamie Mott in the saddle.

Benalla – Race 6 4:00PM AEST

No. 6 Judge Jeanine – Bet Now: $2.90

There is very little speed in this race and Judge Jeanine should get a very soft lead with Craig Newitt in the saddle.

She doesn’t win out of turn, but on exposed form she does have a clear class edge over the rest of this field and she may never have a better chance to return to winning form.

Benalla – Race 7 4:30PM AEST

No. 8 Swing With Junior – Bet Now: $SP.00

Swing With Junior is great value at her current quote of $7 in what is an open race.

This is another race that has very little early speed and Zac Spain should be able to control this race from the outset.

She is a much better filly than her last start effort suggests and she has raced well at this track and distance in the past.

Benalla – Race 8 5:00PM AEST

No. 5 Something Foxy – Bet Now: $SP.00

Something Foxy will need some luck in running, but she is still the horse to beat in what is an open contest.

She has improved each time that she has been seen at the races this campaign and there was a lot to like about her last start effort at Mornington.

The Foxwedge filly has the early speed to go forward from the wide barrier draw and I am confident that she will be in the mix.
