No. 7 Longduan – Bet Now: $5.00
Longduan kick started her campaign with a sixth at Morphettville over 1000m where she was beaten only 1.8 lengths.
The three year old filly by Written Tycoon was then beaten by that same margin last start at Dunkeld and is looking for the extra distance in this event.
Hamilton – Race 3 1:30PM AEST
No. 10 Halo’s Quest – Bet Now: $4.20
Halo’s Quest is yet to break through for her maiden win in nine career race starts but she has been placed seven times!
The five year old mare was beaten less than three lengths first up over an unsuitable trip and she will be much better with the run under her belt and getting out to 1400m.
Hamilton – Race 4 2:00PM AEST
No. 4 Nassidio – Bet Now: $4.80
Nassidio was placed at his only race starts at Ballarat this time last year over 1600m on the heavy going.
Librate won that race and that horse has gone on to win at Flemington and be placed in open grade at Caulfield since.
There should be a big watch on the betting market leading into the race to get a guide for whether the horse is ready to win first up.
Hamilton – Race 5 2:30PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 8 Nevershotthedeputy – Bet Now: $2.80
Nevershotthedeputy resumed with a really nice win at Yarra Glen before things didn’t go his way when sixth last start.
Harry Coffey can shoot straight to the front from barrier three in this race and he will be tough to run down late.
