Wednesday will see plenty of quality thoroughbred racing across the country with our focus being on the meetings at Canterbury and Sale. Take a look at our horse racing tips and best bets for Wednesday 10th June, 2020.
Canterbury – Race 4 3:10PM AEST
No. 7 Milunka – Bet Now: $2.00
Milunka showed her quality with an impressive win at Canterbury last start and a repeat of that performance would make her tough to beat.
The All Too Hard mare has generally improved second-up and there is a chance that she has gone to another level this campaign.
Hugh Bowman in the saddle is a positive and there is no reason that she can’t make it two wins on the trot.
Canterbury – Race 6 4:20PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 2 Cristal Breeze – Bet Now: $12.00
Cristal Breeze will make his Australian racing debut at Canterbury this afternoon and it would not surprise to see him produce a forward showing.
His best form in Europe would make him competitive in this type of contest and Australian Bloodstock have had plenty of success with imports in the past.
The $9 currently available is over the odds.
Sale – Race 5 2:10PM AEST
No. 8 Paris – Bet Now: $4.80
Paris returned to the races with a fifth place finish at Sale last start and it was a better performance than it looks on paper.
Trainer Peter Moody said after the race that Paris would have finished closer on a dry track and she should take good improvement from what was a tough run.
If she does do that, she will go to a level that will make the rest of this field tough to beat.
Sale – Race 6 2:45PM AEST
No. 1 That Girl – Bet Now: $2.60
That Girl showed plenty of promise during her maiden racing campaign and she finds herself in a very winnable contest first-up.
She generally raced in stronger company than this during her maiden racing preparation and she does run well fresh.
Barrier seven is ideal and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with Campbell Rawiller in the saddle.
