Horse Racing Tips & Best Bets – Wednesday 16th September, 2020

Wednesday will see plenty of quality thoroughbred racing across the country with our focus being on the meeting at Warwick Farm in New South Wales. Take a look at our horse racing tips and best bets for Wednesday 16th September, 2020.

Warwick Farm – Race 2 2:00PM AEST

No. 7 Deniki – Bet Now: $2.30

Deniki has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win at Warwick Farm this afternoon.

She had excuses when she was beaten at Warwick Farm at the end of her maiden racing campaign and her two barrier trial victories ahead of her return to the races have been outstanding.

Tommy Berry will take her straight to the front and she will give her rivals something to catch.

Warwick Farm – Race 3 2:35PM AEST

No. 7 Bucharest – Bet Now: $2.30

Bucharest is a very promising galloper and it is exciting to see the Deep Impact colt working his way through the grades.

He has recorded two wins from as many starts at Newcastle and there is no doubt that he still has a huge amount of scope to improve.

James McDonald will be able to settle him just behind the speed and he will have every possible chance to make it three wins from as many starts.

Warwick Farm – Race 5 3:45PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 5 Plaquette – Bet Now: $3.40

Plaquette is a mare that I’ve always had a big opinion of and I am confident that she can go to another level this campaign.

Her first-up win at Randwick Kensington could hardly have been more impressive.

She was settled in the second half of the field and stormed home in the fastest closing sectionals of the day to return to winning form.

Hugh Bowman will settle her in the second half of the field again, but she will have every possible chance to finish over the top of her rivals.

Warwick Farm – Race 7 4:55PM AEST

No. 6 Nerone – Bet Now: $SP.00

Nerone is a much better chance than his current odds suggest.

His first-up effort at Warwick Farm was poor, but I am happy to forgive that performance and his best form would have him right in this contest.

Barrier four is ideal and he will get a lovely run in chance with Rachel King in the saddle.
