Baby Boomer has been transferred to the care of Lindsey Smith after starting his career with Tony Gollan in Brisbane.
He has form around a number of talented horses and on exposed form he does look to have a clear class edge over the rest of this field.
Barrier four is ideal and if he brings anything like his best form he will prove very tough to beat.
Sandown – Race 6 6:00PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 3 Dominus – Bet Now: $5.00
Dominus has gone to another level since he joined the Phillip Stokes stable and he finds himself in another winnable contest at Ladbrokes Park Sandown this afternoon.
He showed a nice turn-of-foot to win at Ballarat last start and he still has the upside to improve.
The Iffraaj gelding will settle in the second half of the field and he will be storming home late.

No. 1 Excelman – Bet Now: $4.00
Excelman is a galloper that I am confident has more ability than his current record suggests.
He returned to the races with a close third at Cranbourne last start and he should take good improvement from that performance.
Damien Oliver in the saddle is a positive and he should have every possible chance to return to winning form.

No. 16 Starspangled Baby – Bet Now: $21.00
Starspangled Baby is outstanding value at her current quote of $26.
There was a lot to like about her win at Sale two starts ago and her performance at Ladbrokes Park Sandown last start was better than it looks on paper.
Barrier one is perfect and she will make her own luck right on the speed.
