Randwick – Race 5 3:10PM AEST
EACH-WAY: No. 5 Got Your Six – Bet Now: $10.00
Archanna is a deserving favourite and will prove tough to beat, but Got Your Six is well and truly over the odds at $12 and is a great each-way bet.
This is a step back-up in class for Got Your Six, but she has performed at this level well in the past and the Randwick-Kensington track is ideal for her.
Tim Clark will take her straight to the front in the early stages of this contest and she will give her rivals something to catch.
Randwick – Race 7 4:20PM AEST
No. 14 Regal Stage – Bet Now: $SP.00
Regal Stakes is another Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained runner that represent genuine value at the current price.
He has not produced a poor performance this campaign and he has definitely gone to another level this preparation.
The wide barrier draw isn’t ideal and he will need some luck in running, but he does have early speed and he should be able to find the front in the early stages of this race.
Ballarat – Race 7 3:55PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 1 Santelmo Fuego – Bet Now: $9.50
Santelmo Fuego is outstanding value at the current quote of $10.
He returned to the races with a narrow victory at Warrnambool and he is a galloper that generally does improve the further that he gets into his campaign.
Laura Lafferty is an excellent young apprentice and he will ensure that the Written Tycoon gelding is settled right on the speed in the early stages of this contest.
Ballarat – Race 8 4:30PM AEST
No. 11 Orchidia – Bet Now: $16.00
There is no doubt that Orchidia will take benefit from this run and be better over further, but I am very interested to see how he performs in his Australian racing debut.
His form in Europe would have him right in this contest and trainer Archie Alexander does have a strong record with imports.
$15 is well and truly over the odds in what is a very open race.
