Sandown – Race 5 2:45PM AEST

No. 3 Excused – Bet Now: $2.20

Excused had issues when she failed to fire at Ladbrokes Park Sandown last start and she is a much better horse than effort suggests. She wasn’t beaten far in the Inglis Dash and she has generally raced in stronger company than this one. On her best form, she does have an edge over the rest of this field and she should prove tough to beat.

Sandown – Race 6 3:20PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 4 Diaquin – Bet Now: $4.20

Diaquin has an excellent chance to claim a second race win. She was unlucky not to win at Geelong last start and the fact that she got as close as she did, despite having no luck in running, was impressive. The Sacred Falls filly should get a lovely run in transit with Damien Oliver in the saddle and she will have every possible chance to get the job done.

Warwick Farm- Race 1 12:50PM AEST

No. 4 Forbidden Love – Bet Now: $3.00

Forbidden Love has shown good ability during her two race starts to date and she should be suited by the drop in class at Warwick Farm this afternoon. She wasn’t disgraced behind Away Game in the Percy Sykes Stakes and a repeat of that effort would make her very tough to beat in this sort of company.

Warwick Farm- Race 7 4:20PM AEST

No. 1 Epic Dan – Bet Now: $11.00

Epic Dan might be an eight-year-old, but there is an argument to be made that he is racing in career best form. He has recorded two wins from his past four starts and there was plenty to like about he way that he won at Warwick Farm last start. Warwick Farm does appear to be his pet venue and he is great value to make it two wins on the trot.
