BEST BET: No. 5 Candy Puzzle – Bet Now: $4.20

Candy Puzzle is a better mare than her record suggests and she finds herself in a very weak contest at Sale this afternoon.

There was plenty to like about the way that she found the line first-up and she should take good improvement from that effort.

Barrier five suits and she will have every possible chance in the run.

Sale – Race 4 3:50PM AEST

No. 2 Cliffs Of Belaura – Bet Now: $4.80

Cliffs Of Belaura returned to the races with a fast-finishing third at Cranbourne last start and the form coming out of that race has been decent.

The step-up to 1200 metres is ideal for her and she will get a lovely trail into the contest with Daniel Stackhouse in the saddle.

I am happy to take on Lindhout and the $4.60 available for Cliffs Of Belaura is over the odds.

Sale – Race 6 4:00PM AEST

No. 2 Boss’n The Moss – Bet Now: $3.70

Boss’n The Moss returned to the races with a classy win at Pakenham and it would not surprise if he is now able to go on with the job.

He makes his own luck right on the speed and he does seem to have more upside than the rest of this field.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he is well-backed and ends up starting the race as a clear favourite.

Sale – Race 7 4:35PM AEST

No. 1 Coin Collector – Bet Now: $3.10

Coin Collector has generally been racing in stronger company than this and he has an excellent chance to return to winning form.

There is no fitter horse in this field and he is a horse that simply never produces a poor performance.

Damian Lane in the saddle is a positive and he will have every possible chance in the run from barrier three.
