Horse Racing Tips & Best Bets – Wednesday 9th September, 2020

Wednesday will see plenty of quality thoroughbred racing across the country with our focus being on the meetings at Sandown and Canterbury. Take a look at our horse racing tips and best bets for Wednesday 9th September, 2020.

Canterbury – Race 1 1:25PM AEST

No. 2 Cadenabbia – Bet Now: $2.15

Cadenabbia showed plenty of potential when he finished a close second behind Game Theory on debut and he should take plenty of improvement from that performance.

He maps to get a lovely run in transit from barrier two with Brenton Avdulla in the saddle.

The step-up to 1550 metres looks as though it will suit and he should prove too classy for the rest of this field.

Canterbury – Race 7 4:55PM AEST

No. 10 Dubai Star – Bet Now: $3.80

This looks like an ideal race for Dubai Star.

She returned to the races with a close third behind In Lighten Me at Randwick Kensington last start and this race isn’t that much tougher.

Tim Clark will take her straight to the front in the early stages of the race and she will give her rivals something to catch.

Sandown – Race 6 3:20PM AEST

BEST BET: No. 14 Oh Please Dianna – Bet Now: $5.50

Oh Please Dianna is great value to make a winning return to the races at Ladbrokes Park Sandown this afternoon.

She wasn’t beaten far at Group level during the Autumn in the Typhoon Tracy Stakes and she ran well at Flemington after that.

Her barrier trial win ahead of her return to the races was excellent and she is well and truly over the odds at her current quote.

Sandown – Race 7 3:55PM AEST

No. 5 Propelle – Bet Now: $4.00

Propelle doesn’t win out of turn, but she finds herself in a winnable contest at Ladbrokes Park Sandown this afternoon.

She showed an excellent turn-of-foot to win at Caulfield last start and this race isn’t that much tougher.

1000 metres is her pet trip and there is no reason that she can’t make it two wins on the trot.
