MISS PANDANUS won her first two starts before a nice effort when third here although disappointing if you took the $2.45 last start. She was coming off a three week break leading into that defeat so she should be cherry ripe today and the step up to 1400m I think will allow her to build into the race. She is a mare going places and I think today she can get back on the swing of winning races.

Besides being a cracking television show DOUBLE JEPARDY is a handy galloper that looks well placed here this afternoon and at double figure odds looks a nice play. He has been in consistent form and if he can get the favours from a little tricky gate early he will be right in the finish. The value comes as he looks as though his form suggests he goes better on firmer ground but that said I don’t think he dislikes the sting out of the track. He ran third behind Nature Strip on a slow surface albeit well beaten. In this grade at double figure odds he gets a little on mine.
