RACE 1 NO.7 RINGERDINGDING
Former Sydneysider RINGERDINGDING steps out tonight for his new trainer Darren Weir and I am prepared to back him off some very good form north of the border and now with the Weiry polish he could be capable of figuring during the spring. He won impressively on debut and just hasn’t been able to reproduce that form on race day. From a good gate here he can get a nice run and be in the money.
RACE 5 NO.4 LEONARDO DA HINCHI
When the barriers were drawn and LEONARDO DA HINCHI drew two he was always going to be the one to beat. If he repeats his last start narrow defeat by Brutal he will take a power of beating. He steps to the mile for the first time but I don’t see an issue and the soft draw should ensure he gets the trip.
RACE 8 NO.5 ISAURIAN
Gotta wait all night but ISAURIAN looks the best of the night with Craig Williams riding for James Cummings and Godolphin. First up he was impressive winning at Flemington when he charged to the line over the flying 1000m. From a good draw he should settle reasonably handy and be hard to beat.
