Mogul is a horse that I believe would have been hard to beat in the Ladbrokes Cox Plate and he can claim another Group 1 victory in the Hong Kong Vase.

There was plenty to like about the way that he won the Grand Prix De Paris in France and he wasn’t disgraced in the Breeders’ Cup Turf.

2400 metres is ideal for him and he will get a dream run with Ryan Moore in the saddle.

Sha Tin – Race 5 5:40PM AEST

No. 5 Danon Smash – Bet Now: $11.00

I am keen to take on Classique Legend in the Hong Kong Sprint and Danon Smash represents outstanding value at his current quote.

He chased home Gran Alegria to finish second in the Sprinters Stakes in Japan last start and there is no horse of that quality in this field.

Barrier 14 isn’t ideal, but he does have Moore in the saddle and $13 is a huge price for a horse with his quality.

No. 3 Admire Mars – Bet Now: $6.00

Golden Sixty is another favourite that I am keen to take on and Admire Mars is the horse to beat in the Hong Kong Mile.

He has form around some of the best horses in the world in Japan and he won this race 12 months ago.

There is no reason he can’t claim another Group 1 victory.

Sha Tin – Race 8 7:30PM AEST

No. 7 Magical – Bet Now: $2.60

Magical is one of the best horses in the world and she is clearly the horse to beat in the Hong Kong Cup.

Her wins this year include the Tattersalls Gold Cup and Irish Champion Stakes, while she wasn’t beaten far in the Juddmonte International Stakes, Champion Stakes and the Breeders’ Cup Turf.

Barrier one is perfect and she is another horse with the benefit of Ryan Moore in the saddle.
