GUARD OF HONOUR returns here having not raced since winning the Bat Out Of Hell 900m on the Gold Coast in early May. He has the top weight and an awkward gate but he fires first up having won three from five attempts and he is clearly a class runner compared to many of his opposition. He has won five times in his relatively short racing career with three of those being over the flying 1000m.

SHESEES EVERYTHING has come back this preparation a stronger mare and her performances are showing that with two dominant wins and a solid third behind Winter Bride. She stays on the limit here and with a pretty fair tempo expected and the nice roomy track with a long straight she will be hard to hold out late. The distance of 1200m is her gun journey having finished in the first three on five occasions out of six.
