VICTORY TOAST has always shown good ability as a 2yo which culminated in her running in a listed race at Doomben. She resumed as a 3yo and was on fire when winning here by a winning 3 ¼ lengths a fortnight ago. From an ideal gate and having shown she has come back as a three-year-old she should get the punters off on the right leg this afternoon.
RACE 3 NO.2 COASTAL PRINCE
COASTAL PRINCE has only raced three times and looks like today’s trip of the mile is right up his alley. He raced four weeks ago and after getting well back and being held up after starting from a wide gate and with a big weight his run was full of merit. There doesn’t look any stars here and with Jeff Lloyd taking over the reins from barrier one he looks hard to beat.
