Trekking has scored a clear-cut win in the $1.5 million Stradbroke Handicap, the principal race of the Brisbane winter carnival.

Giving the global racing operation Godolphin its second win in the Group One race in the past three years, Trekking sprinted brilliantly at Eagle Farm under Kerrin McEvoy.

Trekking defeated Tyzone and the New Zealand-trained Endless Drama.
