The Victorian Jockeys’ Association has reached agreement with Racing Victoria over an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and a new riding fee.
The two bodies finished the 2017/18 season, which coincided with the end of the old EBA on Tuesday, in a stalemate leading jockeys to take industrial action by refusing to talk to the media for pre and post-race interviews with the ban now lifted.
A new riding fee of $211 has been brokered for the first year while fees for years two and three will be finalised before the beginning of the new season.
