RACE 5                        NO.1    GREENSPAN

GREENSPAN has been costly a few times but with the blinkers on today and a strong and positive rider in Brenton Avdulla I think we can see the real horse this afternoon. He was beaten last time out at Hawkesbury which can be a tricky track as they sit up then dash plus it was a heavy surface and 1800m. The drop back to the mile on a soft track and the blinkers all point that he will be hard to hold out.

RACE 6                        NO.6    SQUAW PEAK

SQUAW PEAK resumed off a 4 month break and was collared in the final stride at Gosford over the flying 1100m. I love that the Hawkes camp has given her four weeks to overcome that run and from an ideal gate she should settle handy and be hard to beat.

RACE 8                        NO.4    MOLLYFIED

The favourite Wide Spread Panic obviously looks the one to beat but gee I think MOLLYFIED is great value as she will have a 2.5kg pull in the weights and I think with the step up to 1`350m he will allow her to get into her stride easier than having to chase at the shorter trips. She will also appreciate the better footing today compared to last starts heavy track and her statistics show third up following a spell she is two from two.
