The winner was unwanted drifting from $9 out to start $17 with original favourite Grandioso also unwanted drifting from $2.60 to at $3.80. Best backed runners were the unplaced Savaheat who was $15 into $8 and Macculino who was $21 into $10.
Race 2 – OVERSTEP $9.50, won from MOTOWN LIL, DIVINE QUALITY.
Overstep started at $9.50 after opening at $8 with the runner up Motown Lil have good support from $7 into $5.50. Favourite Divine Quality was always short in the market between $2.10- $2.30.
Race 3 – NORTHERN JOURNEY $101, won from NEW GRADUATE, SHOREHAM.
The winner $61 out to start at $101. Runner up New Graduate had very good support being $10 into $6.50 whilst Galic Chieftan also had good backing being $4.80 into $3.80.
Race 4 – GUANGZHOU $11, won from BETTYRAE RUBY, ATLANTIC EXPRESS.
The winner had very good support opening at $21 before starting $11 with runner up Bettyrae Ruby also specked from $41 into $26. Spanner Head and Greviste also had good support before finishing unplaced.
Race 5 – SOVEREIGN NATION $7.50, won from WELL SPRUNG, TUCANCHOO.
Sovereign Nation was always solid around $7.50 with runner up Well Sprung very well backed moving from $21 to start at $10. The best supported runner was the unplaced Radipole who was $13 into $5.50 2nd favourite.
Race 6 – DE LITTLE ENGINE $3.20, won from MUJADALE, LIKE A CAROUSEL.
The winner drifted from $2.30 to start at $3.20 on the back of very good support for the unplaced Renew who was $13 into $3.80. Both placegetters had good specking with Mujadale $15 into $7.50 and Like A Carousel $31 into $21.
Race 7 – TASHBEEH $21, won from YESTERDAY’S SONG, TRIED AND TIRED.
Tashbeeh drifted from $13 to start at $21 with runner up Yesterday’s Song having some specking being $31 into $21. Whistle Baby had some support being $13 into $8.50.
Race 8 – EXTRA ZERO $34, won from HARADAFUL, SELF SENSE.
Extra Zero had little support drifting from $26 to start $34 with runner up having solid backing being $5.50 into $4.80.
Race 9 – ZOURKHAN $34, won from PORTION CONTROL, FASTNET LATINA.
Zourkan had some support opening $41 into $34 with runner up also with specking being $51 to $34. The best supported runners were 3rd placegetter Fastnet Latina who $8 into $3.40 favourite and the unplaced runners Kellstorm $9 into $4.80 and Brown Ben who was $17 into $9.
The Money Was Right: Guangzhou was heavily backed being $21 into $11.
Left It In The bag: Fastnet Latina was $8 into $3.40 before finishing 3rd.
Friendless: Northern Journey was $61 out to $101 before getting the money.

Race 1 – VIRIDINE $4, won from PENDELOQUE, CHARLIE CHAP.
Viridine had good support early being $3.60 into $2.60 before drifting late to start at $4 on the back of very good support for the unplaced Adsum who opened at $8 before starting $3.20 favourite.
Race 2 – QUICK FEET $13, won from WHITE MOSS, FLEETING STRYKE.
The winner was $8 out to $13 with runner up White Moss well backed being $4.40 to $3.60. Best backed was the unplaced Passage Of Time who was $4.40 into $2.80.
Race 3 – NEW UNIVERSE $1.80, won from VIENNA ROMANCE, MEMES.
The winner was the only runner punters wanted to be on opening at $2.50 before getting home at the $1.80. All other runners started longer than opening quotes.
Race 4 – HAY NOW $3.80, won from RED KNOT, BOLSHOI DEVOUSHKA.
Hay Now was always solid opening at $4 before starting at $3.80. The best supported runner in the race was the unplaced Puzzling Wonder who was $21 to a starting price of $8.
Race 5 – CLEAR THE BEACH $13, won from DISSOLUTE, OLD MAN SAM.
Clear The Beach had some early support getting into $9 from $13 before getting back to the opening quote of $13. Old Man Sam was very well backed before finishing 3rd halving the opening quote of $15 to start at $7.50 . Allez Chavez also had specking at odds.
Race 6 – BROADSIDE $5, won from GET ON THE GRANGE, MORE ENERGY.
Broadside had good support being $7 into $5 with runner up Get On The Grange having very good support being $81 into $26. Unplaced Nothing Box was the best backed runner going from $7 into $3.20.
Race 7 – INVINZABEEL $10, won from BERRY DELICIOUS, MOHER.
The winners opened at $10 got out to $13 with late support seeing it back to the opening quote. Horses who were specked in the market were So Willie, Liapari, Berry Delicious and Believe.
Race 8 – BONNY O’REILLY $3.20, won from WILD ‘n’ FAMOUS, DREAM LINE.
Bonny O’Reilly have good support starting at $3.20 after opening at $4.20. Guard Of Honour was $7 into $5 with Noble Joey well supported coming in $6 to start at $9. Others with specking were Frill Seeking, Wild ‘n’ Famous and Girl Sunday.
Race 9 – DAGNY $4.20, won from LABDIEN, WAHNG WAH.
Dagny had solid support being $4.60 into $4.20 with lots of horses being supported and shortening in the market being Firebird Flyer, Countess Marinov, Chloe’s Comet, Labdien, and Stiletto Vixen. Very competitive betting race.
The Money Was Right: New Universe got home being backed to the exclusion of all other runners.
Left It In The Bag: Adsum was off the map before finishing unplaced.
Friendless: Quick Feet was $8 out to $13 before getting home.

The race was effected by scratchings with the winner being $7 into $3.60. Runner up Blackjack Bella had very good support being $4.60 to start $2.80. 3rd placegetter Street Savvy had very good support opening $71 before starting at $17.
Race 2 – PARDOE $7.50, won from SKATE TO PARIS, WUDANG BLADE.
Pardoe had good early support being $9 into $4.60 before getting out to start at $7.50. Unplaced runners who had good specking were Red Heavy who was $21 into $8, Real Princess $15 into $8.50 and Ubetwedo was $15 into $9.50.
Race 3 – THE VIRGINIAN $8.50, won from HIGHLY GEARED, QUELLE LIAISON.
The Virginian opened at $8 had some support then got out to $8.50. The best backed runners were the unplaced Colinelle who was $26 into $5.50 with Misery $31 into $7.50.
Race 4 – TACTICAL ADVANTAGE $4, won from ALL OVER BOSANOVA, INSPIRED ESTELLE.
Tactical Advantage was always solid around the $4 mark with runner up All Over Bosanova had good backing being $11 into $4.60 before drifting to start at $7. Tiyatrolani was well backed going from $9 into $5 with good specking also for Secret Mo, Ringo’s A Rockstar, Manaya and Prioritise.
Race 5 – BIDII BABE $8.50, won from UNTAMED DIAMOND, DEE NINE ELLE.
Bidii had some support opening $11 and starting at $8.50 with the runner up being the best backed runner opening at $7 to start at $3.20. Dee Nine Elle had good backing coming in 11 points to start at $15. Sold For Song and Elegant Composure both opened at $8 before starting at $5.
Race 6 – KENEDNA $3, won from OKLAHOMA GIRL, PERILOUS LOVE.
Kenedna was well supported opening at $4 getting into $2.70 before starting at $3. Unplaced runners The Pinnacle and Candika were the best backed runners being $8 into $4.60 and $11 into $6.50 respectively.
Race 7 – SENSE OF OCCASION $9, won from STAR EXHIBIT, RUDY.
Sense Of Occasion didn’t budge from the opening quote of $9 with runner up Star Exhibit the best backed runner being $13 into $7. The opening favourites It’s Somewhat and Articus both remained around their opening quotes.
