Mepunga Felix won his last start by over a length at this track and distance and should prove tough to run down again from the inside box.
The son of Barcia Bale has found the placings in seven of his 10 starts over this distance and is yet to put a foot wrong at Sandown.
SANDOWN – RACE 9 7:48PM AEST
The lightly-raced Never Simple goes around much shorter than he did last start where he surprised everyone with a comfortable five length win at a double-digit price.
The two-year-old by My Bro Fabio clocked a speedy time of 29.63 seconds and clearly has the ability to go on with it.
SANDOWN – RACE 12 8:52PM AEST
Demolition was a winner over this track and distance four starts back and has since found the placings in his last three runs.
I’m yet to see him run a bad race at Sandown and although he’s drawn wide, he should be right in the finish with even luck.
