DEVONPORT – RACE 4 12:55PM AEST
It has been a while between race wins for Artie Dee Two and this is his chance to return to winning form.
He goes into this contest third-up and he is a galloper that generally improves the further that he gets into his preparation.
Barrier one is ideal and he will have every possible chance in the run.
DEVONPORT – RACE 7 2:40PM AEST
Comiskey Park has recorded two wins on the trot and there is no reason that he can’t continue his winning ways.
He doesn’t have a great record at Devonport, but there is no doubt that he has gone to another level this campaign.
Thomas Doyle will take him straight to the front in the early stages of the race and he will give his rivals something to chase.
DEVONPORT – RACE 8 3:15PM AEST
Elton’s Song is a much better horse than his recent form suggests.
The heavy track at Launceston last start definitely didn’t suit him and you can put a pen through that run.
He has generally produced his best form at Devonport and I expect to see him return to a semblance of his best.
DEVONPORT – RACE 9 3:50PM AEST
Ocean Essence has developed into a very consistent performer and he comes into this contest on the back of an impressive victory at Launceston last start.
He has won at Devonport in the past and he has shown that he is capable of carrying a big weight.
Barrier six is ideal and he should prove too good for the rest of this field.
