No. 9 Miss Mcgonagall – Bet Now: $3.30
Miss Mcgonagall was not at her best last start at Group 3 level over the longer distance but she was racing consistently before that below par effort.
She will appreciate the step back in distance for this assignment and looks the one to beat.
Melton – Race 6 8:30PM AEST
No. 6 Honolua Bay – Bet Now: $1.65
Honolua Bay was a dominant winner at this track and distance by 14 metres three starts back before being far from disgraced at Group 1 level.
She then dropped back in grade to easily score at Terang last start and she looks very hard to beat in this contest.
Early money suggests she will improve.
Melton – Race 7 9:02PM AEST
BEST BET: No. 8 Wolf Stride – Bet Now: $1.60
Won the Group 1 Allied Sprint at Menangle leading into the Miracle Mile where he was excellent from a difficult draw to finish third.
This is a much easier task than those two races and he should just be winning with even luck.
