Race 1 – 11:30AM HANDICAP (1400 METRES)
No. 2 Calculated returned with a nice win first-up at Canterbury and he should be even better now that he is fitter and rises in trip. No. 1 Colesberg won well first-up last prep, but then struggled against some nice horses at Randwick and Flemington. His two trials have been good and this gelding should get a nice run from the barrier. No. 4 Siege Of Quebec was a nice winner on debut. He is a talented colt who will appreciate the longer trip. No. 7 Tennessee Tango ran a good time when winning at Canterbury last start. Peaks now and the trip should be ideal.

Race 2 – 12:05PM BENCHMARK 84 HANDICAP (1350 METRES)
No. 7 Mariquita got back too far first-up, but I loved the way this mare attacked the line. She is a very nice horse who will appreciate this distance. No. 4 Insensata is racing very well this time in and she will get every chance to win again from the nice draw. No. 3 Girl Sunday has been disappointing this time in, but I am happy to give her another chance because she is very fit and the drop in grade should help. No. 2 Hetty Heights did enough first-up. Fitter now and she is unbeaten over this trip.

Race 3 – 12:40PM HIGHWAY HANDICAP (1100 METRES)
Another week and another tough Highway. No. 1 Bulala stuck on well last start in a Highway race and this horse should be ready to peak now. No. 5 Surprise Party is a lightly raced filly who resumes with no recent trials. Drawn well and this trained must be respected. No. 11 Star Aspiration is a consistent galloper and No. 2 Cosmic Reign is racing well, but he needs luck from the draw.

Race 4 – 1:15PM BENCHMARK 74 HANDICAP (1800 METRES)
No. 8 Walk the Streets has been racing very well this time in, but she is struggling to win one. This race looks perfect for her and the trip should suit. No. 1 Arbeitsam returned to his best with a nice all the way win last start at Warwick Farm. He is a tough horse who should love the longer journey. No. 3 Samadoubt stepped up in trip and won well last start. This is harder, but he is rock hard fit and I think the rise in trip is perfect for him. No. 10 Queen Of Heights has been racing well this prep and I like that she has had a recent trial to keep her mind on the job.

Race 5 – 1:50PM BENCHMARK 75 HANDICAP (1200 METRES)
No. 9 Faith’s Encore resumes and has had one very nice recent trial. She is a classy filly who will get back and attack the line strongly late. No. 2 Pick Me Up didn’t have much luck last start when finishing seventh at Rosehill, but his form prior to that run was good. He is a fit horse who will really appreciate the nice draw. No. 1 King Darci is an honest horse who if fitter now, drawn well and he gets in well at the weights after the claim. No. 3 Clear The Beach was racing well before his last start failure at Randwick. The drop in grade suits and I thought his recent trial was good.

Race 6 – 2:30PM BENCHMARK 93 HANDICAP (1200 METRES)
No. 9 Top Striker got caught wide last start, but I thought his effort to finish sixth was good. He is a nice horse on his day and his second-up record reads well. No. 8 Washington Heights returns to Aus after showing nice ability in Hong Kong. His trial leading into this was good and this gelding has a very impressive first-up record. No. 11 Sir Plush was a dominant winner first-up and then last start I thought he was a bit flat. He is a nice horse, but I think he is a fresh horse.

Race 7 – 3:10PM ATC WINTER STAKES (1400 METRES)
No. 6 Classic Uniform comes into this second-up after attacking the line strongly from the back of the field at this track. His second-up record is very good and if Tim Clark can weave some of his magic then this gelding can run a massive race at big odds. No. 1 Gold Symphony is racing well this prep and he looks well placed again in this race, but he does need a touch of luck from the draw. No. 5 Centre Pivot worked home well first-up and he must be respected now that he is fitter. No. 3 Burning Passion has won his last two in nice style up in Brisbane. This is tougher and I think he is under the odds.

Race 8 – 3:50PM BENCHMARK 78 HANDICAP (2000 METRES)
No. 3 Collateral is airborne this prep and he should have won his last five, but he was given no hop last start. He is a rock hard fit horse, drawn well and the drop back in trip should be no concern. No. 13 King Viv finished mid field at this track last start, but I thought his effort was still good. He should be more positive from the draw and the step up in trip is perfect. No. 5 Zourkhan is racing well this prep in Melbourne and he does look suited in this race, but I don’t where he is going to get to from the horrible draw. No. 10 Springbok Flyer is ready to produce his best now that he has had three runs back from a spell.

Race 9 – 4:30PM BENCHMARK 78 HANDICAP (1500 METRES)
No. 13 It’s So Obvious sat off the leader and gave a very nice kick to win her maiden last start at Newcastle. This is tougher, but she is a nice horse who has drawn well and gets in with no weight on her back. No. 2 Reneged tried hard, but couldn’t produce his best under the big weight at this track last start. He is a talented animal who has drawn perfectly, but the big weight is a concern. No. 10 Trenchant drops in grade after running some nice races behind some good horses last prep in Melbourne. His two trials have been very good and barrier six ensures a lovely run throughout. No. 4 Flow is racing well and the drop back in trip should suit this horse.
