Bjorn Baker will split his attention between the Rosehill trials on Friday and a busy race day on Saturday, with spring prospects in action at both.
Sydney Cup winner Arapaho headlines the 1000m trial heats as he builds towards the Group 1 Winx Stakes (1400m) next week, before targeting the Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup.
“He looks great. He is very bright within himself and he’s in really good order,” racing manager Luke Hilton said of the nine-year-old.
Talented filly Within The Law will also trial ahead of her Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m) return.
On Saturday, Baker has 11 Rosehill runners, including Perfumist in the Petaluma Handicap (1200m) after a confidence-building race day outing two weeks ago.
Hilton is also backing Puntin to bounce back in the Precise Air Handicap (1400m), hoping for a drying track after he struggled over 1800m on heavy ground.
