Long-time favourite Care To Think has been ruled out of the $1.3 million Kosciuszko with an elevated temperature.

Trainer Matt Dunn says he does not want to risk travelling the horse from Murwillumbah to Sydney for Saturday’s rich race for country-trained horses at Randwick.

The holder of the slot for Care To Think will nominate another horse on Wednesday morning.
