RACE 2 NO.1 COLOMBINA
Gee COLOMBINA looks well placed here off what was solid 2yo form earlier this year. That is a little worry in that 2yo form doesn’t always mean they come back at the same level as 3yos. His trials have been solid enough and although she has yet to race on wet ground she is by Lonhro out of a Commands mare suggesting she should appreciate the give out of the ground. The speed looks ok meaning she should get her chance to come hard in the run home.
RACE 4 NO.1 VELOCITA
Perhaps backing and being keen here on VELOCITA is a little bit of blind love as her two runs this preparation haven’t been anywhere near her best. I thought she has needed both runs and dropping back to this grade I am hoping she can regain a bit of her old form as that should be good enough to get away with the race.
