Race 1

2 FULLAZABOOT & 1 BLUE BOOK look the 2 hardest to beat here. 1 FULLAZABOOT was an impressive winner on a heavy track first up, then was given a short break before trialling well in late November. He looks a nice type of colt that can win here on the way to better races. 1 BLUE BOOK has done all asked of him, will race and is a leading chance here again.

11 BENFICA PRINCESS was slashing first up winner, who can go on with the job here. She contested the best of the filly’s races during the winter carnival, and performed well. She looks like a mare with above average ability, and is a great chance here.

Race 3

4 BOOM BOOM EPIC was very unlucky not win in this grade last start. She was a month between runs, and travelled 3 deep near the speed, before just being touched off late by 1 MAGNUFIGHTER, who had an easier run. The step to 1600m looks suitable for 4 BOOM BOOM EPIC, she can lead and dictate the tempo, and dash clear and win here.

Race 4

6 REALING looks the best horse in the race, and although he is drawn wide, he has the class to overcome it. He competed against the best of our 3yr olds in QLD last preparation, and his 2 runs in Sydney this time in have been good enough to be winning here.

Race 5

Super competitive No METRO WIN class race with a host of chances. 16 ALL THAT IS showed she’s not just a wet tracker, with a nice third behind MANAYA last time. She should be able to get a nice run in transit from the draw, and with clear air in the straight she can definitely be challenging them late.

Race 6

4 SHEZA LILY is a mare on the way up, and boast an impressive record of 6 wins from 12 starts. She has gone through her grades nicely at provincial level, and looks ready to take the step to Metro grade now. Her wins have been impressive, in particular the way she has attacked the line, and the step to 2000m 5^th up here looks perfect. Hardest to beat looks to the Waller trained pair of 9 MONASTERIO & 12 KERIN

5 NOTONYOURLIFE was super impressive winning first up in similar grade last start. She hit the line like nothing else on the day, and nothing suggests she would go backwards off that run. 4 ZUMBELINA brings a different form line to this race, her last run was good from the back of the field, and can figure here.

Race 8

4 CRACK ME UP is the younger horse on the scene in QLD OPEN CLASS races, and he should be winning again here on the way to a crack at the Villiers in Sydney. 7 TOO GOOD TO REFUSE ran a cracker last time, the 5 Year had the ultimate gear change, and it just may have reinvigorated him, look for him flashing home late.

Race 9

 

I think it’s the perfect scenario for 3 BECKHAM to return to winning form here. He hasn’t been fa away in slightly stronger grade than he meets here, and with the services of M RODD here he looks to get his chance. He seems huge odds around the $14 mark even after scratching this morning. He just looks to get the right run.
