Positive signs for injured apprentice

There are positive signs for Injured apprentice Nyssa Burrells who is no longer in an induced coma and has started to sit up and recognise family members.

Burrells suffered a bleed on her brain in a fall at the Warwick Farm jump-outs last Friday week.

Racing NSW said she although she had contracted a chest infection and would remain in intensive care in Liverpool Hospital, all other signs were positive.

Dr David Duckworth says she is moving all her limbs and responding to simple commands.
