This mare IAM SERIOUS is low flying this preparation with three cracking runs and she will get her just rewards this weekend at Randwick. First up over 1400m she charged late to just fail before jumping straight to 1900m and being gunned down late by Avilius who again defeated her last start. She drops back to the mile here and with a wet track on the cards she will take plenty of beating.

FAST TRAIN is facing a big test this weekend taking on some seasoned older performers and he has only raced three times with his debut only two months ago. His first two runs were only fair but last start stepping to 1800m I thought he was outstanding at Hawkesbury winning with ease by over six lengths. With only 52kg on his back and a possible tilt at the VRC Derby if he can win or run well I am prepared to have a little dabble at him here.
