RACE 2 NO.8 SKYRAY
SKYRAY burst onto the scene as a 2yo went charging home at Wyong in the Magic Millions to run a gallant second. He is yet to win in town but he has started to furnish as a horse now winning three of his past four starts including first up this preparation. There looks good speed in this race which should allow James McDonald to have Skyray in a stalking position and at around the $8.5 mark he represents good value.
RACE 5 NO.3 SOLO MISSION
SOLO MISSION has a different form line to many of the others who seem to have clashed against each other over the past month when Hearlet was able to win at Randwick on November 6, Tamarack got the chocolates here two weeks ago or The Bandit eight days ago on the Kensington track. Solo Mission has now had three runs back a good spell clashing with the impressive Sky Boy at his past two. Chris Waller steps the son of Sea The Stars up to the 2400m and although drawn poorly he should run a solid race around the $7 mark.
