3 EMINENT has come back in fine order this preparation, with two impressive runs under his belt and looks ready to produce here. First up he ran into the metro winner AMANAAT before a slashing win from a hopeless position in the run last time. Looks well placed and hard to beat here.

Race 2

 

9 SLYDINI looks a safe EW play at the odds here, in what looks a race devoid of speed. He battled on well after sitting on a hot speed, when over ran by the 1 BELFLYER, who enjoyed a soft run last time out. 9 SLYDINI will either lead or sit on the speed and should give a kick on straightening, and be right in the finish.

Race 3

 

1 EF TROOP carried big wraps on his debut, and he delivered in good style working at both ends in the run and getting the job done. Expect him to be running hard from the outset and being hard to beat.

Race 4

 

Big field of 2YO fillies, not a race I’ll be betting into with a lot of confidence. Of the raced brigade, I think 9 WITHERSPOON looks to get a nice run in transit, and will take benefit from the race day experience.  She started well in the market at debut, before getting back and hitting the line well. With the benefit of a trial since that run, she can settle handier today and be in the finish here.

2 LONG TIME AGO from the all conquering Waterhouse / Bott yard looks the winner here.  She brings strong form from Melbourne this preparation, and on the strength of her last start, she should race on speed and be winning here.  6 MORENDI has come back in great order this prep, look for to be finishing hard late and a great Quinella hope.

7 ALL OVER BOSANOVA has trialed up will in preparation for this, and maps perfectly to be winning first up here.  She can sit on the back of COLINELE & TARZAN, and run away from them over the concluding stages.

3 PIERATA absolutely toyed with his rivals first up last time, and he looks a very classy conveyance. Meets similar opposition here, with a couple of rivals that are first up, he carries a fitness edge and he can continue his winning way here.

Race 8

 

I’ve mapped this 2 MONSIEUR GUSTAVE leading with 10 RUTTEGEIR outside of him, with 3 MOST IMPORTANT & 7 SNOOPY just behind the speed getting the gun runs. I’m keen on 3 MOST IMPORTANT at the EW price here, he was terrific last start, and really closed hard late. He maps to get the right run and be produced at the right time to get over the top of the leaders.

Race 9

Found this a nightmare race to single one out, a number of good hopes cruelled by bad barriers. 15 ICE FROST just gets the nod on an EW basis for me here. She looks the likely on speed runner, and can give a kick ion the corner and be hard to run down. 12 CARE TO THINK looks like he has come back in great order. His trial was super, and he is the hardest to beat.
