Short price favorite 3 LET”S PARTY MARTY should lead and win here. At his win first up last campaign, which was his first start in a race, he beat talented gallopers SNITZ & I AM IMPINGE. That is the right form for this, and a repeat of that has him winning here. 1 SWEET SHAMROCK is likely to find the fence first, then hand up to the favorite, which should see him holding second.

While he has drawn an awkward alley, I think 5 STRYKE OF DELIGHT has the speed to overcome the draw, and get on speed and win here. His run last start was good, there should be improvement in him second up and the 1100m looks suitable. 1 DOOM also looks suited back to 1100m, gets an economical run from the gate, and just needs a touch of luck to be in the finish.,

5 SAN MARCO is having his first QLD run, but he has had the 2 trials at the Gold Coast in preparation for this. Both his trials have been really good, and expect if he brings that trial form here, he will be winning. 4 REBEL SAGA has had 4 trials over a couple of preparations and gets top the races for the first time here, and can be in the money.

10 JOEL has found the right race to break his maiden status, and from the inside gate he should be punching forward getting on speed and is the horse to beat.

8 CHASE THE WIND should use the good gate here, and can either lead or sit behind the leader. Her 2 runs this prep have been good, as she has chased a coupe of sharp horses. I think she has come back better this prep and can run a race at big odds. 1 LOOSE GOOSE will have to overcome wide a gate, but will race well. I think she can find the front here and looks hard to catch. 9 WILD AVA may get too far back from the gate, which is a concern.

He is very short, but 3 RUNWAY READY looks better than his rivals here. All this runs this preparation have been really good, and is a last start HWY HCP winner at Randwick. He has won at this track & distance and just looks the winner here.

The favorite 6 SHIELD WALL has been fair in 2 QLD runs, and last start I thought was a good enough run looking for further. She stays at the 1600m though today, so I’m happy to let her around without mine at $2. 10 SWEET ADALINE has an awkward alley, but I think she is the big improver third up to the mile today. She was good first up, then just plain second up chasing the speed. She will need to be ridden for luck here, but if she gest it can be right in the finish.
