The All Aged Stakes draws high quality gallopers from all over the country, from different age brackets and from different form lines, and another exciting edition of the Group 1 feature race will be run and won at Royal Randwick.

Masked Crusader has returned to the races in career-best form this time, and he leads an all-star cast in 2021 All Aged Stakes betting.

All Aged Stakes – Winner

No. 2 Masked Crusader – Bet Now: $2.90

He is in very slick form indeed, and I’ve found it impossible to look past Masked Crusader in the 2021 All Aged Stakes.

The Toronado gelding has always hinted at above average ability, but has finally started to realise his potential this year, and won the Group 1 William Reid Stakes in utterly dominant fashion two starts back.

He simply had too much work to do when charging home to finish second behind Nature Strip in the TJ Smith Stakes last time out, but he is rock-hard fit and will relish getting out to 1400m at this point of his preparation.

All Aged Stakes – 2nd

No. 11 Tagaloa – Bet Now: $11.00

Three-year-old Tagaloa is lightly-raced this prep and I’m confident that he can have a big impact over 1400m in the All Aged Stakes.

The Lord Kanaloa colt was outstanding during his two-year-old season, peaking with an impressive win in the Neds Blue Diamond, and while he went somewhat amiss in the spring, he hasn’t run a bad race this year.

His third placing in the Manfred Stakes first-up was decent, and he was excellent when winning the CS Hayes Stakes over 1400m in February.

He has been freshened since filling the minors in the Australian Guineas and is drawn to receive a lovely run under Luke Currie.

All Aged Stakes – 3rd

No. 4 Dreamforce – Bet Now: $12.00

He’ll need to jump well from the outside barrier, but James McDonald will likely take Dreamforce forward on Saturday, and he’ll be in the All Aged Stakes for a long way.

The Fastnet Rock gelding has had two starts back this time, finishing fifth in the Canterbury Stakes when resuming and going within a head of defending his crown in the George Ryder.

Fitter third-up, I can’t imagine the small drop in trip will be an issue, and with even luck, he can fight out the finish.

All Aged Stakes – 4th

No. 13 Peltzer – Bet Now: $34.00

Going for one at a bigger price to fill the first four, and banking on Peltzer re-discovering his love for racing at Royal Randwick.

Peltzer has been a great horse for the Gerald Ryan & Sterling Alexiou team since making his debut, and showed above-average ability here at Randwick, incredible winning each of his first five appearances at the track, including three feature races.

He’s gone somewhat amiss at his last three starts, but he’s rock-hard fit, gets into this race well under the conditions, and I think he can return a cheeky effort.
