No. 2 Hostile Takeover – Bet Now: $6.00
Hostile Takeover has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win at Sale this afternoon.
He ran the fastest closing sectionals in the race at Geelong last start and he looks as though he has gone to another level this campaign.
This is far from the strongest race and he still has the upside to improve.
Sale – Race 5 3:00PM AEST
No. 8 Ain’tnodeeldun – Bet Now: $2.50
Ain’tnodeeldun is deserving of his status as a clear favourite for this contest.
He has form around Caulfield Guineas contender Flying Award after finishing fourth in the Anzac Day Stakes as a two-year-old and there was plenty to like about he way that he found the line first-up at Bendigo.
The Dundeel colt should take good improvement from that effort and on his best form he has a clear class edge over the rest of this field.
Sale – Race 7 4:00PM AEST
No. 6 Prophecies – Bet Now: $4.00
Prophecies failed to fire at Ladbrokes Park Sandown last start, but she did have genuine excuses and I’m happy to put the pen through that run.
She doesn’t have a great overall record, but there is no doubt that she has ability and she still has the upside to improve.
William Pike in the saddle is a positive and she represents genuine value at her current price.
Sale – Race 9 5:00PM AEST
No. 5 Zoffala – Bet Now: $3.40
Zoffala has been racing well without winning this campaign and this looks like an ideal chance to return to winning form.
On his best form he does have an edge over the rest of this field and he should now be at peak fitness third-up.
I expect him to end up in stronger races than this one.
