No. 3 Cordilla – Bet Now: $2.05

Cordilla is a lightly-raced galloper that has plenty of upside to improve.

Her win at Pakenham in April was very impressive and she wasn’t beaten far in what was a strong race at Ladbrokes Park last start.

She should prove too classy for the rest of this field and I expect her to end up in much stronger races than this one.

Geelong – Race 6 3:00PM AEST

No. 8 Gettysburg Address – Bet Now: $4.60

Gettysburg Address has shown some promise during his racing career to date and he put it all together to record an impressive win at Bendigo last start.

This race isn’t that much tougher and I think that he still has the scope to improve on that performance.

Barrier three is ideal and Daniel Stackhouse is riding in outstanding form.

Geelong – Race 7 3:30PM AEST

No. 4 Widespread – Bet Now: $3.80

Widespread has recorded three wins from his seven race starts and he finds himself in a winnable contest at Geelong this afternoon.

The Hallowed Crown has recorded two wins from as many first-up starts and on exposed form he does have a clear class edge over the rest of this field.

Barrier seven is perfect for him and he should have every possible chance in the run.

Geelong – Race 8 4:00PM AEST

No. 5 Gravistas – Bet Now: $4.00

This is Gravistas’ third race start since he was sent to Australia and he is well-placed to claim a maiden Australian race win.

He has done enough in his two race starts to show that he does have talent and the step-up in trip to 2480 metres does look ideal for him.

He will settle in the second half of the field, but he will be storming home in the concluding stages of the race.
