Mean Mister is well-placed to make a winning return to the races this afternoon.

He has generally raced in stronger company than this throughout his career and he has been thereabouts first-up in the past.

Laura Lafferty will be able to take him straight to the front and he will give his rivals something to chase.

No. 7 Countess Tessa – Bet Now: $7.00

Countess Tessa is another horse that can make a winning return to the races at Kyneton this afternoon.

She showed good ability during her maiden racing preparation and she always looked as though she would be better with more racing under her belt.

Barrier four is perfect and she will get a lovely run in transit with Laura Lafferty in the saddle.

No. 9 Isola Comacina – Bet Now: $2.70

Isola Comacina may never have a better chance to record another race win.

She has been racing well without winning this campaign and trainer Andrew Noblet may finally have found the right contest for her.

She makes her own luck right on the speed and she will give her rivals something to catch.
